The background
Premium cabins, premium design
With the purchase of their first 787 aircraft, Qantas needed to customise everything on board. This included the control panels in Business Class.
SLIK was brought in to create the on-screen experience for these panels, and we developed everything from wireframes and UX to the overall design and animation.

Wireframes
We worked with Qantas stakeholders, staff and cabin crew to plan out every on-screen interaction, making sure it all flowed together to create a seamless user journey.
In Control
How it looked
We used subtle animation to help guide the user, while simple graphics helped break down content. From offering light or dark mode to creating easy-to-use chair controls, everything was designed to give the passenger a comfortable in-flight experience.
